Sean Barry is Managing Director of Wireless Ireland, Ireland’s largest local radio operator. Sean started his radio career in 2000 with Cork’s 96FM & C103 and has held many senior leadership roles since then, as the group expanded. He has led Wireless Ireland since 2017, following the groups acquisition by News UK and Ireland. Wireless Ireland brands include Dublin’s Q102 and FM104, Cork’s 96FM and C103, Live 95 in Limerick, LMFM covering Louth and Meath and U105 in Belfast. Its sales house Urban Media also represents Galway Bay FM and WLR in Waterford, as part of its Urban Access national commercial package. Wireless Ireland is also a creator of leading digital audio content such as Premier League Live, Socially Awkward and the award winning podcast, The Kinahans.
