Liam Sheedy is Director BOI Munster who has worked in a variety of roles across Bank of Ireland Group. Having managed his native Tipperary Senior Hurling Team to All-Ireland success in 2010 Liam returned last Autumn to manage the Senior Tipperary Hurling Team and led them to All Ireland Hurling Championship success yet again and was nominated for Sports Manager of the Year 2019

A firm believer in performance psychology and the power of positive thinking, Liam uses his motivational and leadership skills both on and off the pitch.  He is an outstanding leader who demands an exceptionally high level of quality and performance from both his professional and hurling Teams to deliver for Customers, Communities and themselves.

An excellent and inspiring communicator, Liam is Chair of the High Performance Committee for Sport Ireland, a Board Member on University of Limerick Sports Arena and was previously a non Executive Director on the GAA’s Management Committee. Liam is also well-known sports pundit and has previously acted in an advisory role to Clubs and Counties across a number of Communities
