Damian Scott
Damian has over a quarter of a century of advertising industry experience. He has been Creative Director in a number of high profile agencies, before turning freelance as a creative consultant and senior-level copywriter.
Despite Damian’s involvement with press, TV, direct mail and digital campaigns for leading brands like Audi, Škoda, VW, HSBC, British Telecom, Asda, the National Trust, Direct Line and many more, he has a particular fondness and passion for radio advertising.
Acting as a freelance writer for radio campaigns, Damian has worked with Irish stations like Dublin’s Q102, FM104, Sunshine and Classic Hits as well as Belfast’s U105.
In conjunction with Learning Waves, Damian also delivers workshops in writing effective radio commercials across Ireland.
Originally from Manchester, Damian now lives on the south coast of England and is regular guest lecturer in advertising, copywriting and communication at the Arts University Bournemouth, as well as continuing to contribute to the creative output of various UK ad agencies.
