Adam Smyth is the Editor of Radio Current Affairs and Digital News at the BBC in Belfast and a multiple Sony Gold and PPI award winner for reporting and production. He started at the BBC as a Regional News Trainee and spent a decade as a reporter for local and network news before making the switch to programme making.  The bulk of his work involves providing editorial leadership to Radio Ulster’s daily news programmes including the breakfast show, Good Morning Ulster, which reaches one in five of the population in Northern Ireland every week.
